Continuing from last week’s #tbtRPG Isaiah the Gray story:
Still strapped in, Jimmy C turns to Isaiah and asks: “Well, where to next?”
Isaiah meditates a moment on his surroundings: there are several dozen people on this ship, all of whom possess some degree of force sensitivity. Moreover, this ship possesses a highly advanced level of sensor technology.
“No problem.” Isaiah confidently says to Jimmy. “I’ll take care of it.”
The away pod’s hatch opens, breaking its camouflage. Jimmy, concerned, looks around but sees that the cargo bay guards all have their backs turned. Jimmy looks to Isaiah who nods his reassurance. The two men simply walk out of the cargo bay, down the long corridor, and to the turbo-lift all the while the ship’s monitoring systems automatically deactivating at the appropriate junctures.
Isaiah and Jimmy C enter the lift and, as it begins to hurtle toward the main bridge, Jimmy turns to Isaiah and says: “I’ve never seen this type of power before.” Pausing a moment as the turbo-lift reaches its destination, Isaiah responds: “Neither have I.”
The doors to the main bridge open: a dozen people of numerous different species, clad in all gray, stand at their posts, monitoring activity Korriban, all the while unaware they’ve been boarded.
Isaiah though becomes aware that there are a select few here who possess incredible force potential, albeit not in the same league as his own power. As he ponders the potential consequences, Jimmy C, finding himself among such a high concentration of the force for the first time in his life, walks, albeit unseen, to the very front of the ship as the look on Isaiah’s face turns from pride to chagrin rather quickly.
Isaiah deactivates the force cloak from Jimmy. The bridge instantly reacts, raising both blaster riles and some, readying their lightsabers, all of which are white. The Captain though, raises his hand and beckons Jimmy to speak.
Jimmy C’s pupils go large, massive amounts of the force flowing through his body, and he stands tall: “We come…in peace!” Jimmy collapses onto one knee, clearly exhausted from the sheer degree of energy in his body burned by using the force of this magnitude.
The Captain responds: “Well I would certainly hope so! You made it this far after all. The force may have hid you from us, but now it’s making itself known. Come, let us talk.”
The Captain, surrounded by his first officer – a Mandalorian woman – and chief of security – a female Twi’lek, lead the way to the nearby adjoining observation lounge, Jimmy in tow. Isaiah follows, still unseen, close behind.
As the observation lounge door closes, Jimmy turns to seemingly no one and says: “Commander, I had never felt such energy before. I will do better next time, I promise.” Isaiah removes the force blanket from his person, revealing himself to the others in the room and responds: “I know you will Jimmy.”
Un-phased, the Captain turns to Isaiah: “Ah, the master has revealed himself.” “I am a master of nothing quite yet.” responds Isaiah “But please, tell me who you are and what the purpose of this ship is. I feel it is entirely…unique.”
“Indeed it is.” responds the Captain “I am Captain Issac. And this is my first officer Hanari and my chief of security T’Enora. And this is the Gray ship “Odyssey.”
Jimmy pipes-in: “”Gray” ship?” Isaiah interjects: “Who are you?”
Captain Issac answers: “We are the Gray.”
Isaiah looks concerned. “But…that’s my name.”
